My Little Artists

I painted a wooden table and chair set for my boys. My 9 month old, G seemed interested as he watched me, so in between coats I let him have a try with a dry paint brush. He is a natural little artist, as is my almost 5 year old, who insists on wearing a french painter's hat while painting at his easel.

Happy 2009

I have eased into 2009 after spending 3 weeks relishing the holidays with my wonderful little family. This month my creative projects have been focused on my children, redecorating my 4 year old's bedroom, and also hand-painting a wooden table and chair set for my boys. Now I need to get back into the groove of getting into stores and checking on my cards.
I recently updated my website shelldransart.com and added pay pal! So now people can purchase goodies directly from me anytime! I also added adorable hand-made onesie and burp cloth giftsets, as well as a gallery of examples of "wearable art" where I have put my art onto hand-dyed onesies and Tees. I added greeting card packs containing 5 cards and 5 envelopes put into a cello sleeve for protection, and wrapped with a raffia bow for gift giving. Lastly, I added a section of favorite photography prints for sale. I continue to offer services such as portrait photography and custom orders. Last weekend I sent out an announcement that I had updated my website and I truly appreciate all of the wonderful feedback I have been receiving. I feel truly blessed to know so many supportive people.
