Hibernation Mode

I have been quiet on the blog front lately. Been spending time being mindful of my body, of my lifestyle, of my life and everyone and everything in it. I have sort of become an observer in my own life. Being present with my children and being reflective. I feel bad for not being present here on my blog, but my heart has been away from my computer for the time being. I feel like I have been in hibernation mode which goes perfectly with the winter season.

I was on a walk this evening reflecting on this and I realized I hadn't been on here for awhile and I have not told you all about our new kitty, Vincent!
Isn't he cute!?
Dylan, my almost 6 yr old, had been asking for a kitty for years (actually 100 kitties to be more precise). Finally (after numerous drawings and now with sentences he has written about wanting a kitty), this Christmas I decided it was time to break down and adopt him a kitty! I went to the humane society and fell in love with this little guy. He went limp and began purring, and cuddling his head under my chin as soon as I picked him up. I brought him home and surprised Dylan with him. Dylan was beyond thrilled and named him Vincent Sloneker Dransart. Vincent (as in Van Gogh), and Sloneker, the last name of one of his favorite (girl) friends. He is such a sweet kitty! He is always purring and fits right in with my boys and the whole family.

Well, it looks like my time is up for now. Gavin (and Vincent) just came in from jumping in puddles (now on his 3rd set of clothes). Its been pouring down rain and it just let up so I sent him outside to play. He comes in to get warm and dry, and then wants to get right back out there in the water! And now I have Vincent and Gavin on me here!
Lots of love to you and your families!
xoxo Shell

Oh sweet muddy Vincent you couldn't have found yourself a better sweeter more lovelier family as the Dransart's.

Wish you all the most wonderful adventures time together. And my you Shell send us lots and lots of great pics with them in it fooling around and making a mess out of your place....;-))) just kidding about the mess.
Oh and do take your time with the heart planning. Your main job is being a mom not playing on the computer that's just a side kick.
